Forgotten but not Gone!

Today I was watching a CNN interview and they were talking about the plight of the soldiers who face immense challenges, after multiple deployments, transitioning back into society. At that point I did concede to the expert's opinion that many Americans have forgotten that the US is at war. He said, "Remember the saying, gone but not forgotten? Quite the opposite is happening with our soldiers, they are Forgotten, but not Gone!" This got me thinking about my post today. Many of us love the military wear, but when we don it do we think about the soldiers and their sacrifice for our freedom? Michael Jackson was a huge advocate of the military styles as evidenced in some of his most ornate jackets, but he was one of the few that were very concerned about the plight of humans and the state of the world. I think most of us are guilty to some extent of not thinking twice about the meanings associated with military wear. So I have procured some garments that are commonly worn and can be purchased. Let us support the US troops and wear their military styles conscious of the true meaning and their sacrifice!
